Even though the teams does not look to have similar kind of qualities on paper but even then one thing is certain which is pure entertainment is guaranteed for the viewers and for the fans who will visit the venues.

Here, we’ve identified three players from each team to watch out for in the series who can prove to be a difference-maker once the contest will come to an end on January 10th in Pune.

India:

Virat Kohli:

India’s Virat Kohli is being termed as the best batsman across all formats currently playing in the game. However, the 31-year-old has not taking part in the shortest format of the game for the Men-in-Blue consistently in the recent past and therefore, it will be interesting to see if he still has what it takes to continuously deliver at the highest level continuously in the T20Is. Since February 2018, Kohli has accumulated 677 runs at an average of 52.07 with six half-centuries to his name. He will be looking to continue his rich vein of form with the bat in this contest.

Lokesh Rahul:

Lokesh Rahul is one of the most in-form batsman for team India in the current squad. The 27-year-old has managed to score three half-centuries and a century in last six innings in the white-ball formats for the Men-in-Blue and the team management will be hoping to see him continue doing that in the near future. Since Feb 2018, Rahul has scored 680 runs at an average of 40.00. Rahul is expected to deliver decent scores for India at the top of the innings in this three-match T20I series.

Jasprit Bumrah:

Jasprit Bumrah is being termed as one of the best bowler across all formats in the game currently. However, the right-arm pacer is returning to action after a lengthy injury layoff and has not played an international match since September 2, 2019. In the past 18 months, India’s premier bowler has claimed 11 wickets in 10 T20I matches at an economy rate of 6.71. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if Bumrah can bring his A-game on the show in the series against Sri Lanka

It will be interesting to see how India fare against Sri Lanka in the three-match T20I series.
