Kaul, Rashid star as Hyderabad down Mumbai

Siddharth Kaul and Rashid Khan produced an outstanding spell to help Hyderabad Sunrises stun Mumbai Indians with a 31-run win in the 23rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Mumbai on Tuesday.

The day started with the home side captain Rohit Sharma winning the toss and opting to field first. His decision paid dividend as the visitors never get going and kept losing wickets at a regular interval, which eventually resulted in the fact that they were bowled out for just 118 in the 19th over.

Captain Kane Williamson and veteran all-rounder Yousuf Pathan finished the innings with joint top score of 29 each off 21 and 33 balls respectively. Williamson scored those runs with the help of five fours, whereas Pathan smashed two fours and one six in his innings.For the home side, left-arm pacer Mitchell McClenaghan, all-rounder Hardik Pandya and leg-spinner Mayank Markande claimed two, whereas fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mustafizur Rahman claimed a wicket each.

In reply, Mumbai had a horrid beginning as they lost three wickets for just 21 runs inside the first six overs.However, opener Suryakumar Yadav and Krunal Pandya stabilize the ship with a 40-run partnership for the fourth wicket.But once Pandya departed in the 12th over, the home side once again lost their way and were bowled out for just 87 in the 19th over of the match.

Yadav finished the innings with the top score of 34 off 38 balls with the help of four fours, whereas Pandya scored 24 off 20 balls with the help of four boundaries as well.Yadav and Pandya were the only two batsmen for the home side who managed to enter in double figures.

For the visitors, pacer Kaul was the pick of the bowler, as he claimed three, whereas Afghanistan leg-spinner Khan claim two wickets.
